Halloween… but make it fashion.

Maybe you are an October Bride, wanting a nod towards your favorite holiday, but draw the line at going full on Halloween? Then perhaps embracing the theme of eerily elegant is the one for you.
St-Dunstans-In-The-East is one of those quirky, charming corners of London. It is a park built from the ruins of a church first built in 1100 with a dramatic history. Damaged by the great fire of 1666, it was rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren, and finally succumbed to its fate during the Blitz in the 1940’s. In 1967, the ruins were converted into a stunning park, and are the perfect backdrop for any unconventional Bride.
Nothing makes a bolder statement than a black wedding gown- and , after all, black is the new black. You can avoid the goth and emo comparisons by embracing warm, autumnal tones with your bouquet, and retain classic bridal beauty chic with a bold red lip.
This was a really spontaneous styled shoot, created one early autumn weekend almost 10 years ago. What I love about this is that almost a decade later, nothing looks dated or old fashioned, proving once again that elegance never really goes out of style, even when it has a little edge to it.
